The first one, DeltaV Implementation I, begins September 19. The next DeltaV SIS Implementation begins October 10. Syncade Suite Recipe Authoring 4.0 begins on October 11. Finally, DeltaV Advanced Control – Custom begins on October 17.

If formal training in not within your budget, you can find all kinds of process control wisdom at the ModelingAndControl.com blog. It’s advanced education from automation hall of fame members Terry Blevins and Greg McMillan. Beyond years of blog posts, the blog has a book section with links to books for sale as well as free eBooks.
Greg has a series of recorded lectures that we dubbed “deminars”, short for demo-seminars. Terry has numerous videos from his book and website, Control Loop Foundation.
In other words, there is no shortage of ways to build on your process automation knowledge and land one of these positions, if that is what you seek. I hope you’ll consider it and be a member of our world of process automation. It is what former Emerson Process Management leader, John Berra, calls a noble profession.
