When changes are made to measurement instrumentation you are familiar with, it can be concerning, particularly before you know what the changes are, how they affect you and the potential value they provide. With this in mind, we want to take this opportunity to relieve any such concerns and share some information about an exciting innovation from Emerson. We are delighted to introduce the Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter.

The Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter is an integral part of the Roxar 2600 Multiphase Flow Meter (MPFM). Replacing the flow computer and field electronics that were previously provided, the Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter houses all the electronics hardware. This is not a new product, but rather an enhancement to the Roxar 2600 MPFM. Be assured that nothing is lost, nothing is experimental, nothing is unknown. The transmitter takes the robustness and reliability of which the Roxar 2600 MPFM is renowned for, to new heights.

Previously, the Roxar 2600 MPFM was delivered with the field electronics mounted onto the meter body, and the flow computer, an electronics enclosure, mounted separately from the meter body, connected through appropriate cabling. The Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter includes all the electronics hardware required for the meter in a small, robust, hazardous area certified enclosure, and is mounted directly on the meter body. This provides an elegant, all-in-one solution, taking reliability, autonomy and precision in multiphase measurement to new heights.

At Emerson, we pride ourselves at constantly innovating to meet the changing and growing demands of the market. With the release of the Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter, the new electronics hardware platform for the Roxar 2600 MPFM, we provide additional value in a number of key areas, and we are delighted to share these with you today.

Let’s take a look at three key areas where you will reap the benefits of this development to the Roxar 2600 MPFM.

Simplified and streamlined installation

The state-of-the-art electronics components are robust to the heat of the desert and are packaged in a compact enclosure mounted directly on the Roxar 2600 MPFM, reducing the footprint of your multiphase flow meters. The all-in-one solution results in straightforward installation and cabling in field, saving valuable time and resources.

Enhanced ease of use

The Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter supports a simple, effective, automated approach, reducing hands on work and field requirements. The web user interface ensures the digital interactions with your Roxar 2600 Multiphase Flow Meters are effective and intuitive, taking the pain out of using your instrumentation and supporting a data driven approach.

Built for your future needs

The updated electronics hardware platform provides trustworthy and robust measurement, with the future in mind. We enhance the reliability of measurement performance, and capabilities with changing flow conditions. In addition, we ensure a robust, future facing electronics hardware solution, with all the resilience and processing power you could need.

If you have an install base of existing Roxar 2600 MPFMs with separate flow computers, there is no need for concern. These high-performance instruments will continue to serve your needs as effectively as always, and our skilled service engineers are on hand to support you as required. If, however, you would like to upgrade your current install base, it is possible to retrofit the Roxar 5726 Multiphase Transmitter onto your existing meters. Please reach out to your local Emerson contact should you wish to discuss this further.

With the Roxar 2600 Multiphase Flow Meter, with Rapid Adaptive Measurement and now the 5726 Multiphase Transmitter, customers can be assured of the same foundational multiphase measurements solution they have come to expect from Emerson, but elevated to new heights, leading the way in the multiphase measurement field.
