San Antonio—A Wonderful Venue for Emerson Exchange

by | May 14, 2025 | Event | 0 comments

Emerson Exchange 2025 begins next week in San Antonio, Texas. If you’ve never been to San Antonio before, I’ll share that it’s my favorite place for our Exchange events here in North America.

San Antonio River WalkThe sessions will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The conference hotels are close by, and it’s only a short walk to the famous River Walk, which you can access through the nearby Marriott Rivercenter.

While there are social events happening on Tuesday and Thursday, Wednesday is a perfect night to get out and explore the River Walk. Restaurants and bars line both sides of the river, and frequent bridges are available to get to either side easily.

The River Walk tends to keep all the conference-goers together instead of scattering across the city, like what happens in so many other venues.

What began as a flood control project in the 1920s was to have flood waters bypass the natural river flow and transform the river into a pedestrian-friendly area.

The Alamo - San Antonio, TexasOther sites close by include the famous in Texas history, the Alamo, which is just across the street from one of the exits out of the River Walk area. Other nearby sites include the Briscoe Western Art Museum and the Buckhorn Saloon and Texas Ranger Museum.

While you’re taking in all the expertise and lessons learned at the conference, don’t forget to take some time to explore the River Walk and the surrounding downtown San Antonio.

Make sure you’ve downloaded the Exchange app and have started selecting the sessions you want to attend. You’ll get more out of the conference and not feel overwhelmed in deciding what to choose if you do this in advance.

Safe travels and see you there!
